How are you prepping your clients headed to Rome this year with the Jubilee? Laura, the owner of @seeitalytravel visited Rome just before Jubilee to talk with partners and has a few tips so your #Rome itinerary is a success:
1. Check the official Jubilee calendar available online to see if your visit overlaps with any events. Expect more activity and traffic near the Vatican on those dates
2. If you or your clients want to tour the Vatican, book a private guide and book early! Ideally 4-5 months in advance. Be flexible on times knowing the best time to visit may be in the afternoon or evening
3. Hotel rates are largely remaining the same this year and the luxury hotel market is mostly unaffected by the increase of visitors with the Jubilee attendees.
4. Ask @seeitalytravel about unique tours and off-the-beaten-path in and near Rome! Give your clients options with something different that may end up their favorite thing of the trip.
